Series Overview – MC2c

After the phenomenal success of the MC1sc®, Mossberg is again using its design and engineering prowess to build a feature-rich, compact handgun… the MC2c®. Sporting double-stack magazines and a host of ergonomic and performance features, the MC2c® is an excellent choice for concealed carry or home protection.

Models are chambered in 9mm and come with a 13-Round (flush)/15-Round (extended) pair of double-stack magazines. Five configurations are available, including sight package and slide finish options. (see model captions for details).

Slides are stainless steel, with Black DLC or Matte Stainless finish. Features angled serrations for positive slide manipulation. Integrated into the slide is the Mossberg STS™ Safe Takedown System (see inset, below left).

Sights are dovetail mounted and come standard in a low-profile, snag-free white 3-Dot configuration. TRUGLO® Tritium Pro™ Night Sights are available as a factory option.

Frames are high-tensile strength glass-reinforced polymers that feature Mossberg’s signature aggressive grip texturing and palm swell for a confident, firm grip under a variety of conditions. A front rail for accessories mounting is standard.

Triggers have a flat profile and integrated blade safety. Trigger guards are oversized for access and comfort.

Mossberg’s revolutionary STS™(Safe Takedown System).* The user unloads the firearm (removing the magazine, clearing and locking the action open), and then removes the striker assembly prior to removing the slide as instructed. Unlike competitive products, an MC2c user is not required to pull the trigger in order to disassemble the handgun for routine cleaning and maintenance. (Left) The flat profile MC2c Trigger (approx. 5.5 lb pull) has an integrated blade safety, a short, tactile reset, and reduced overtravel. It features a crisp, clean break and smooth take-up. All models have a reversible magazine release behind the trigger guard (center). A model with manual cross-bolt safety (circled, at right) is also available. For comfort and concealability, the MC2c grip was designed to be incredibly narrow for its capacity, the result of slim-profile double-stack steel magazines – in 13-Round (Flush) and 15-Round (Extended). Each MC2c magazine features easy-to-remove floorplates, and high-visibility followers, and is made of a coated steel that offers low friction and superior wear resistance.
