Mossberg is now chambering fourteen of their bolt-action rifles in 6.5mm Creedmoor; widely popular with both target shooters and hunters for its flat-shooting, long-range ballistics, on-game performance, and low recoil.
Mossberg is offering four 6.5mm Creedmoor rifles from its highly-innovative MVP Series – the MVP LC (Light Chassis), MVP LR (Long Range), MVP Predator and the newly-released MVP Precision bolt-action rifles and ten rifles from its classic bolt-action hunting line – the Patriot Revere; Patriot Predator; Patriot Cerakote®; Patriot Walnut and Patriot Synthetic versions which are also available in two scoped combo versions; and Patriot Synthetic Super Bantam Scoped Combo. All 6.5mm Creedmoor rifles feature a 1:8 twist rate, 5R rifling with 20 or 22-inch barrel length on most models (excluding MVP Precision and Patriot Revere rifles which have 24-inch barrels); and Mossberg’s user-adjustable Lightning Bolt Action™ (LBA™) Trigger System that delivers a crisp, creep-free trigger pull. And for ease of adding a suppressor or muzzle brake, five of the models feature a threaded barrel (5/8”-24 threads per inch) with protective thread cap included.
MVP Precision (27962)
This long-range tactical platform features a Mossberg-designed aluminum chassis and slim-profile hand guard; LUTH-AR™ MBA-3 adjustable stock; Magpul® MOE+® grip; 10-round Magpul P-Mag® magazine; and matte blue metal finishes. With its multi-patented design, the MVP Precision rifle will accept both M1A/M14 and AR10/SR25-style magazines. Equipped with a 24-inch medium-bull, threaded barrel and 20MOA Picatinny rail for maximizing long-range capabilities, this MVP can deliver sub-MOA accuracy at 1000 yards and beyond. MSRP: $1407

Housed in a lightweight, tan-finished aluminum MDT® chassis, this versatile bolt-action target rifle accepts and reliably-feeds from AR10/SR25-style magazines. MVP LR (27784)
Featuring a benchrest-style Mosscote™ stock with ergonomically-designed pistol grip and palm swell, this AR magazine-compatible (M1A/M14 and AR10/SR-25-style) bolt-action is designed for long-range shooting sessions. The OD Green-finished, fully-stippled stock has an adjustable, integrated comb with a soft-feel, black rubberized Mosscote finish. The comb can be adjusted for cast (approximately .5 inch of adjustment) and a simple, push button on the stock provides a custom-like fit for proper eye/sight alignment with up to 1.5 inches of height adjustment. This more compact rifle has a gray laminate, sporter-style stock with stippling on the forend and pistol grip combined with a matte blue 20-inch medium-bull, threaded barrel. Patriot Revere (27984)
This classically-styled, hunting rifle is the flagship of the Patriot bolt-action family. Based on Mossberg’s proven twin-lug, push-feed machined-steel action, this bolt-action rifle is fed from a lightweight polymer, flush 4-round box magazine. Patriot Synthetic Super Bantam (Youth) Scoped Combo (28027)
Topped with a 3-9x40mm variable riflescope, this compact rifle offering features Mossberg’s stock spacer adjustment system which utilizes a one-inch spacer to extend the length-of-pull (LOP) of the black synthetic stock.
