On November 11, 1919 at 11am. Germany signed an armistice with the Allies which ended World War I. That day later became recognized as Armistice Day when Woodrow Wilson declared November 11, a national holiday.
At that time the day was chosen to recognize the sacrifices of those who had served in World War 1. Today, our nation celebrates Veterans Day, to recognize and thank all members of the United States Military for their service to our country whether they serve in peacetime or war.
All of us at Mossberg are proud to join with all Americans in observing Veterans Day. We thank each of the men and women of the armed services for their efforts, for their bravery and for the sacrifices they have made in protecting our homeland and the freedoms that keep America strong.
