Looking back on my decades of turkey hunting, far too many times my encounters with stutters were blown in the setup phase. Yes, he came into my area. No, I often would not carry him home.

Turkey hunting is all about position, never, ever forget that. It's a cruel lesson I've learned far too many times. He gobbles, and a hunter's heart spikes 150 on the monitor.
