This episode is not just about how to call turkeys, it is about adding realism to your turkey calling.  Jason Cruise, host of The Master's Series, covers how to hen yelp with inflection.  Inflection is a key part of turkey calling.  And you can add inflection with a box call, a slate and striker, or even a push/pull turkey call, and especially a mouth call. You can be a great turkey hunter and still be missing inflection in your turkey calling. Many hunters just don't realize that they are calling quite boring, or monotone, when they call turkeys. This segment will help any hunter with mixing up his turkey calling patterns this spring.  [![Share on Facebook](https://resources.mossberg.com/hs-fs/hubfs/SocialShare/share-facebook.png?width=24&name=share-facebook.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fresources.mossberg.com%2Fjournal%2Fturkey-calling-tips-mastering-inflection%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on LinkedIn](https://resources.mossberg.com/hs-fs/hubfs/SocialShare/share-linkedin.png?width=24&name=share-linkedin.png)](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fresources.mossberg.com%2Fjournal%2Fturkey-calling-tips-mastering-inflection%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dlinkedin) [![Share on Twitter](https://resources.mossberg.com/hs-fs/hubfs/SocialShare/share-twitter.png?width=24&name=share-twitter.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fresources.mossberg.com%2Fjournal%2Fturkey-calling-tips-mastering-inflection%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fresources.mossberg.com%2Fjournal%2Fturkey-calling-tips-mastering-inflection%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=Turkey%20Calling%20Tips%3A%20Mastering%20Inflection) [![Share on Email](https://resources.mossberg.com/hs-fs/hubfs/SocialShare/share-email.png?width=24&name=share-email.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fresources.mossberg.com%2Fjournal%2Fturkey-calling-tips-mastering-inflection%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fresources.mossberg.com%2Fjournal%2Fturkey-calling-tips-mastering-inflection%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ### About the Author ![](https://resources.mossberg.com/hubfs/jason.png) ### Jason Cruise Jason Cruise is a published author and the host of Mossberg’s Rugged American Hunter series.
