Flooded Timber Decoy Tactics

Every duck hunter wants to experience duck hunting flooded timber.

There is something special about watching green heads pour through the tree tops in the timber. It is important to make sure that your decoys are visible, but also leave enough space for the birds to work into the hole.

Timber hunts are way, way different than open water duck hunting. Sunlight plays a huge role in whether or not ducks can see your decoys. And water movement is critical in duck hunting flooded timber.
